I am new to Sunset Middle School and St. Vrain Vally School District this year. I am beyond excited to step into the position of Gifted and Talented as one of my responsibilities. I come to Sunset with a wealth of experience working inside and outside of a school setting.  Most recently, I worked at an IB PYP school in Boulder. I gained some insightful experience and knowledge with IB as I worked closely with the 5th graders on their exhibition service project.

Also, I am still involved with Girl Scouts on a local level.  In the summer, I direct a summer camp in Allenspark. Throughout the rest of the year, I mentor high school girls who are earning their Gold Award and lead a troop in Frederick/Firestone area.

When I am not working or dedicating my time to service, I am busy on house projects, bowling, cooking, and traveling.
