My name is Acadia Gurney and I am so excited for this school year! This is my fourth year at Sunset Middle School and my fifth year in the St. Vrain Valley School District. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, with a major in mathematics and an emphasis in Secondary Education. I am currently attending the University of Northern Colorado for a Master of Arts in Curriculum Instruction. My goal as a math teacher is to support students in their confidence in math and to encourage students to grow as a critical thinker and problem solver.
