St. Vrain Valley School students and staff are invited to celebrate Computer Science Education Week (CSED Week) through a series of engagement opportunities available online including robot programming, code writing, and live virtual sessions with industry partners highlighting different career pathways.
Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this time of great complexity and challenge for our community. On Wednesday, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) informed us that Boulder County is moving to level Orange on the Colorado Covid Dial. At level Orange on the dial, the Governor’s Office, CDPHE, and BCPH continue to support various models of in-person learning.
As families plan their transition to middle and high school next year, schools are hosting virtual open houses to answer questions and share information about the many program offerings across St. Vrain Valley Schools.
We have been closely monitoring the Cal-Wood Fire, in partnership with the Boulder Office of Emergency Management and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, as the fire spread and evacuation areas are impacting several areas within our district community. Firefighting crews have done an outstanding job working to contain the northern and eastern spread of the fire, but we know that wildfires can be unpredictable and we must remain vigilant and prepared for any changes to the fire’s activity.

Though classroom spaces were fundamentally changed, what makes a teacher great stayed the same. This is a few of their stories.
